But you might have other websites in your account, or you might just want to give them access to view the data, but not change anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this tutorial, I'll go through <a href=\"#google-analytics-access\">giving access to Google Analytics<\/a> and then <a href=\"#google-search-console-access\">to Google Search Console<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"google-analytics-access\">How to give access to Google Analytics:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Log in to Google Analytics at <a href=\"https:\/\/analytics.google.com\/\">https:\/\/analytics.google.com\/<\/a><\/li><li>Make sure you're viewing the correct website<\/li><li>Click <em>Settings<\/em> in the bottom left corner<\/li><li>Click <em>User Management<\/em> under <em>Property<\/em><\/li><li>Click the <em>plus<\/em> icon, then click <em>Add users<\/em><\/li><li>Enter the email address for the person you want to give access<\/li><li>Check the permissions, or just leave as default to enable Read Only access<\/li><li>Click \"Add\".<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Let's go through those with screenshots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you're in Google Analytics and are viewing the analytics for the property you want to give access, look in the bottom left corner for <em>Settings<\/em>. It will have a gear icon. This will send an email to the person letting them know they have access. It will also only allow them Read access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some agencies might want to be able to Edit or Collaborate. As long as you trust them, go for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be wary of allowing anyone to Manage Users. If you're viewing a different one, use the dropdown to change it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There may be different versions of the website connected to Google Search Console. Hopfully at this point your ownership is verified.
